Methylcobalamin is active immediately upon absorption, while other forms (e.g., cyanocobalamin) must be converted to methylcobalamin in a two-step process. Take one per day with food. Best taken sublingually (allow to dissolve under the tongue) but can be chewed or before swallowed.
