Low stomach acid (hypochlorhydria) is a major risk factor for allergy, upper fermenting gut and infection. It is also a cause of malabsorption. It is often misdiagnosed as hyperchlorhydria (i.e. too much acid) and acid suppressing drugs are prescribed. This makes the whole situation so much worse. Other ingredients - stearic acid, microcrystalline cellulose, hydoxypropyl cellulose, modified cellulose gum and silica.
CONTAINS MILK- this product contains dairy due to the Pepsin 1:3000. Which according to our raw material files contains lactose that is used as a standardizing agent and can vary from batch to batch. As such the exact amount is not available however there is approximately 165 mg of pepsin per tablet.
A reasonable dose would be 1 tablet with food, depending on the size of the meal and clinical response.
Do not use on an empty stomach
